web site design
search engine advertising and management
background
Lisa Marie Silver was looking for a website design and marketing to showcase her enormous energy and interior design talent. As a new business in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, she came to the table with only a logo.
ohso! plan
Our 8-week project plan included:
•
Copywriting
•
Web site design and programming
•
Digital photography
•
Search engine ad development
It was important to differentiate silverscreations.com from the rest of the interior decorators in the Los Angeles area. ohso! design proposed a website design using elements unique to interior design texture and paint swatches. These elements contribute to a friendly and easy to navigate site.
To showcase the “wow factor” captured in her designs, the portfolio area features before and after shots of several projects. A style guide helps clients determine what they are looking for. Intrigued website visitors can ask for a free online consultation by filling out a short form.
In addition, we looked at how to make Lisa Marie’s target audience aware of the new site after launch. We proposed a monthly ad account with Google that used regional targeting to advertise her services. For customer service retention and internal marketing, we proposed a quarterly interior design newsletter.
Search engine keyword research uncovered a few gems. On top of obvious keyphrases, such as “interior design “, a few phrases relatively unused in interior design circles funnel new targeted visitors to silverscreations.com
result
ohso! design believes in measurable results. Having a nice website is great, but how is it being utilized? Using tracking technology, ohso! issues monthly reports that who where website visitors come from (google? Direct? Email efforts?), where they go on the site, how long they spend there and if they inquire about interior design services.
Within the first couple months of launching the site, Lisa-Marie reported
over four new accounts as a direct result of the search engine marketing
efforts.
